Abstracts

GUIDELINES

There is a maximum of two presenters per presentation (except for the panel discussion format).
All presenters must register for and attend the Congress.
Presenters are expected to submit an electronic version of their abstracts (without case material) by February 1, 2025.
Presenters are responsible for bringing handouts and supplies for experiential activities, if desired.

Presentation formats

All submissions must be in English.
Select an applicable format for your presentation:
- Seminar: Clinical/Theoretical topic about Sandplay Therapy (60 minutes, including 10-15 minutes for discussion)
- Case Study: Case presentation with Sandplay Images (60 minutes, including 10-15 minutes for discussion)
- Experiential Workshop: Hands-on engagement promoting active learning (60 minutes)
- Symposia/Debate/Panel (60 minutes)
  One coordinator and two or three presenters (preferable from different societies) who provide different perspectives on a specific issue or question
- Research Paper or Poster Presentation (20 minutes)
  Format A0 or A1 (Maximum size 100 x 125 cm / 39.3 x 49.2 inches)

Deadline for abstract submissions: February 1, 2025

Notification of Acceptance will be done via email by March 15, 2025.

Important Notification

Please follow the instruction below for filling out and submitting the Registration form of Attendance **

1.Topic

Every congress participant will receive a Congress Certificate of participation stating the maximum number of educational credits based on their attendance, up to 24 hours.

2. Topic

If a congress participant was unable to attend all 24 hours during the congress week, these hours can still be credited after viewing the recorded presentations, which have to be also checked on the attendance form. Please note that the recordings are available until November 16th.

3.Topic

When applying for the ISST Certification sandplay therapy students must submit their congress attendance forms along with their certification application (Appendix D) for verification of their completed theory hours.

4. Topic

Please note that due to a high number of participants we may experience delays in issuing and sending you the certificate.

The first is specific to your attendance at individual sessions, which may be useful for continuing education credits. The second confirms your overall attendance at the congress.
